You're a BYU fan. Got it?

As many of you know, John and I are big BYU fans. John more so then I but I still love BYU. I more love BYU the institituion and sports comes second. John I believe may have it the other way around and there is no problem with that. I guess when you live your entire life in Utah county and as a small child attend the football games without fail you become a super fan. As I was reading KSL.com I came upon this article. http://www.ksl.com/?nid=333&sid=2501747. That is when I came to wonder if John or I would do such a thing. Of course the normal response was NO WAY! But then I thought about discussions that have ocurred with Paige and telling her we dislike a school we will call the School of the North. She has taken to not liking a particular color due to those schools colors. I don't want to raise a child that is not tolerant of other views but come on we know what school rules!!(J/K) Hopefully we will not find ourselves in this same situation that this father did. As of right now Paige is more then willing to wear her BYU shirts and she wears them with pride. Johnny on the other hand doesn't care so for all intents and purposes he loves BYU too. I guess when the time comes when you have to have a 4.14 GPA to get into BYU and our children don't make the cut we will have to settle on some school that will suffice. As to if we would tie our child up and make them wear a BYU shirt, I suppose we wouldn't go that far but we may tie them up for wearing a shirt for the School of the North!!
